Interweave in Organisations

Perhaps you are working at or want to be more conscious in your communication and relationships at home and work.

Maybe you are beginning something new or opening to a different direction in your life.

You might be leading a project, team or organisation.

Or you just want to be inspired to live your life more effectively.

To me Interweave is about the interconnectedness of all things – from the smallest microbe on our lovely planet to the greatest celestial body in the Universe.

For more than 40 years I have grown in my understanding of the interconnectedness of communities and organisations where open communication and generous interaction are the foundations for successful projects and service provision.

As a weaver I was taught well that a strong kete or anything else I weave depends on my vision, quality of the Harakeke, careful preparation and practice all impact on the final product. If I don’t have a strong foundation I end up with a wonky kete.

I know I weave better in the company of other weavers and the same goes for community work. When people work together as a team or organisation with a common vision, open processes and mutual support the service provided benefits all concerned.

When I look back over the years and see how I have changed in my attitude and perspectives as I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse groups and interacting with other community/government organisations, learning about myself in the process. I’ve come a long way and still have a way to go.

My path has brought me to supporting: people to grow in their own self awareness, teams to understand and respect each others perspectives and community organisations to work with each other and in partnership with the people they serve. I bring a variety of experience and skills as well as effective tools and processes to enhance transformation and development within your organisation, teams and peer groups and you as an integral part of it all.
